SAS, LLC partner Scott Talbert has hundreds of websites peresonally… and, being an attorney, drafted his own legal disclosures & disclaimers for his sites. That way, he’s fully compliant with:
- the FTC Regs (with the proprietary “FTC Compliance” page),
- other government oversight outfits,
- basic Anti-Spam & Privacy Policy requirements,
- full Disclaimer coverage,
- and there’s even an exclusive “Social Media Disclosure” that was penned to address the reckless behavior folks engage in via social media channels
As you’ll plainly see, this isn’t some “beta” test. This is a trench-test, tried & true product loved by both JVs & customers.
More importantly, it’s not a product created for the marketplace… but rather for personal use. And people appreciate not only having a lawyer craft their website legal pages… but also one willing to take a dose of his own medicine – which happens daily on hundreds of personal sites!
And, the indisputable bottom line is simply that you’ve got the veritable cart before the horse if you’ve got a site online without complying with legal mandates & customary protocol. Not surprisingly, then, adding these Website Legal Pages was one of the very first things done to our own website for Strategic Alliance Solutions, LLC.
At the end of the day, THIS is the very FIRST thing ANYBODY intending to publish a website should have. If you “go live” without the right legal protection in place, you could end up on the wrong side of a lawsuit. Take a look at this unfortunate email received from a customer who bought the Cut & Paste Website Legal Pages just a little too late:
Conversions, EPCs & Non-Existent Refund Rate:
>> There’s a documented $6.87 EPC on one JV Platform (over 1,600 units), with a staggering 59% conversion (see also the type of email received when the offer was closed and folks wanted in):
>> There’s a documented, solid $2 EPC on another 1,600+ copies on the next JV Platform (which is still quite high, even after all the duplicate “hops” from folks who had previously purchased, but clicked thru anyway after their given affiliate re-mailed the offer once re-launched as Version 2.0). And the conversion remains respectable despite all the duplicate clicks at 7% (notice also the conversion is strong for a relatively high-priced offer on JVZoo… and the refund rate is essentially nil):
Great Feedback From BOTH Customers AND Affiliates (Rare!):
>> There’s not only excellent customer feedback but also, quite noteworthy, JV partners who took time out of their day to show appreciation for being able to promote the product:
Example 1 (thankful affiliate: “…only wish there were more products like yours which make writing sales copy so much more rewarding – intellectually and financially.”):
Example 2 (thankful customer/affiliate: “…important to make this kind of material available to my customers.”):
Example 3 (thankful customer: “best value for $37 dollars I have ever received in my life so far… well worth a hundred times!”):
Example 4 (thankful affiliate AND customer… in 1 – Jeremy Gislason, of SureFireWealth, passing along thankful customer email: “…the forms… make everything else we have been using up to this point look like a 3rd graders homework…. incomplete. My thanks for something from this marketing jungle that is of true importance to my business.”):
Sample Email Copy That Converts:
Recent Skype Message From Jeremy… which shows his promotional email content too, with which he sold several hundred copies himself!:
Promotional email the affiliate who gave thanks in Example 1 (above) used to make so many sales for himself:
The same guy actually just promoted again recently… making yet more sales due to the changing complexion of his list over time:
Affiliates Who Actually Use The Product They’re Pitching? YES!:
>> Equally significant is that fact that high-profile & well-respected marketers have not only promoted the offer, but also personally use the product themselves:
Example 1 (“… I only refer products that I have purchased and/or use myself. I have purchased your product and find it to be exactly as advertised and an excellent value for the money.”):
Example 2: Again, Jeremy Gislason of SureFireWealth has added both the proprietary FTC Compliance page and the exclusive Social Media Disclosure to his sites, for example:
Example 3: Robert Stukes, of DareDevil Marketing, uses the Website Legal Pages… and here you’ll see them on his Member Rich site (see additional footer links):
